Our Story

Sharon and Kelly Forrest, sisters-in-law, developed a love for crafting and craft shows many years ago. Attending craft shows and events as a hobby became a bit expensive, so they decided to get involved and create craft products of their own. This endeavor allowed them to participate in craft shows, visit with other vendors, and buy craft items that they liked.

Candle-making was one type of craft that quickly became a favorite, with both women finding inspiration in creating unique beautifully decorated candles, many being one of a kind. Their candle creations are hand-poured in an array of unique canisters with different shapes, sizes, and themes. The candles are made from soy wax, perfectly scented during the melting process, and decorated with inlaid dried flowers, leaves, and other natural vegetation. Other candles are decorated with wax crumble designs in various colors. Many candles are designed based on seasonal themes and scents.

Working hard and investing lots of time developing their candle-making skills, Sharon and Kelly took the next step in what seemed a natural progression, and formed Bee-Lit Candles in 2023.
